Capital Levy Overview

Every four years, LWSD asks voters to approve a Capital Levy. The Capital Project Levy funds facility and technology needs not funded by the State. Because levies are requested at 4 year intervals, they replace each other and do not raise the tax rate. The 2018 Capital Levy will maintain the $0.59 per $1000 Assessed Value (AV) tax rate, raising $37.1M per year.
