Fix Overcrowding The Smart Way
- From 2010 to 2017, enrollment has grown an average of 700 students per year which is the equivalent of a large elementary school worth of students each year.
- Current enrollment stands at 29,572 students, which makes LWSD the 3rd largest school district in the state.
- The 2018 Bond measure will add space at Lake Washington High School, Kamiakin Middle School and Alcott Elementary, build a new elementary school in the Lake Washington learning community and fund the offering of a new choice high school in the Eastlake/Redmond region. In total, this bond measure will add 2100 permanent spaces.
